• TEXELS Bulletin “SMARTER: Small RuminanTs breeding for Efficiency and Resilience”, p. 36 (1^st April 2022)
• Press release from the Greek Ministry of Agriculture about the visit of the Minister in the experimental site of SMARTER Task 2.3: “Combining research with tradition gives great potential to animal husbandry in Greece” in Metsovo, Ioannina (Greece) on 23^rd June 2021. Members of AUTH team gave a detailed description of the work performed within SMARTER project with special emphasis on the use of GPS devices for studying the grazing behavior and patterns of Boutsko sheep. Details regarding genotyping of the animals towards the genetic characterization of the breed were also provided. The news was reported also in other important websites: IN, AgroNews, Ypaithros, MeatNews.
